As the way Earth is now,we know that the Earth really would be destroyed.The Earth slowly is moving towards it's end days. But what happens to humans after the Earth is destroyed?Even though we can't know the future, I'll tell you about my views on this. At the time Earth is destroyed, humanity must be advanced in science beyond imagination.Humans must be advanced even as to terraform an entire planet. So the first possibility is terraforming a planet, or atleast colonizing one.The most potential candidate for terraforming is our neighbor planet Mars itself!Elon Musk and his SpaceX already have plans for colonizing Mars in the near future. At the time of Earth's destruction,humans must be able to travel through the interstellar space .So there is also a chance that humans would travel great distance and colonize a distant planet.The Trappist exoplanets are potential candidates. Milky Way and Andromeda , the two neighbor galaxies are going to collide! Andromeda is coming towards Milkyway at a speed of 110 Km/s . But,even then, it would take about 4 billion years for this to happen . Scientists estimated that the Sun would turn into a red giant and swallow the  Earth and destroy life as we know it ,in over 2 billion years. So we don't have anything to worry about the Milkyway-Andromeda collision....worry about the SUN! But some scientists said that the Sun won't turn into a red giant,but still the Sun will be too bright that it would be nearly impossible for liquid water to exist on the surface of the Earth,thus ending almost all life except some microorganisms which can adapt to this temperature.
